This Winter's moon is the closet Full Moon to the Winter Solstice. It reminds us to remember to keep all people that we love close to our hearts, as we welcome the New Year that is about to arrive.

Winter's Full Moon (12/10/11)
by Amber "V" Moonstone
12/10/11

Traveling Home
late last night,
the moon smiled at me.

It was large and amber colored,
taking my breath away.
It appeared as if it were sitting on the Earth.

Later, it was much higher and less electrifying.
I took in it's moon glow,
and walked into my house.

As I fell asleep, I began to think,
"This is the closest full moon to Winter Solstice"
Soon our longest night of the year will arrive.

I fell quietly to sleep,
for some reason I awoke around 6 am,
and was annoyed because I wanted to sleep in.

As I walked into the bathroom,
my shade was up, and low and behold,
there was that same electrifying moon as before.

I knew it was giving me a sign,
I fell back to sleep to awaken to sunshine,
and felt refreshed and renewed.

This Winter's Full Moon,
is a reminder to acknowledge how hard
we worked and survived in 2011.

It urges us to reflect and accept,
all the joys and pain that we have experienced,
and leave them in the past.

Be excited about the coming New Year,
and know that it is going to be more
joyful, prosperous and healthier.

Believe this with your heart and mind,
and feel this Winter's Full Moon energy,
take it deeply into your soul,

Remember to thank your higher power,
Smile at strangers that you meet,
and love your family and friends.

Have a joyous holiday season,
and keep this Moon's energy blanketed
deeply within, to find the peace we all need.

I AGREE...THE MOON SUCH AS YOU SAW IT IS A WONDERFUL REMINDER OF OUR MAKER'S CONTINUOUS OMNISCIENT PRESENCE IN EVERY AREA OF OUR LIVES. I BELIEVE THAT ALL NATURE HAS THIS PURPOSE; TO REMIND US OF 'HIM'. WELL DONE AND ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

natural and profound
full of sight
full of sound

like a door
lets in more
of a moonlit night

to spark a light
within my soul

thank you for this verse
and for burning bright
an Amber in the night.

This is a beautiful, heart-warming and cosseting personal account and encouragement, Amber. It both lends itself to rest and contentment and also to to a vibrant and expectant forward-looking as we step lightly into 2012, moving always upward and onward. Peace in the world starts with peace within, which you always seek to guide us into. Bless you always for your abundant heart and Mother-love, and may you enjoy the most fulfilling and joyous of Christmas seasons with those you love and care for. xx
