80 Degrees; Ho-Humm
Not gloating
Nor bragging
Though it may seem
However
When seeing
When hearing
How those to the east
Are faring on this day
Upon hearing of
Sub-zero weather
Excluding the many
Added minuses
For wind-chill factors
When seeing
Traffic at a stand-still
Due to icy roads
Due to howling
Blowing snow
Due to the skid of cars
Due to the spin of
Non-tractioned wheels
Additionally
Due to visibly impairing
White-out conditions
When I think of the
Millions upon millions
Of you coldly huddled
Back east masses
That viewed the
Five mile
Pasadena Parade
I knew your hearts…
I just know
The hearts of
You coldly huddled
Back east masses
Were absolutely…
Are absolutely
Heart-broken
Seeing how we in
Southern California
Must suffer with and in
Eighty degree weather.
Not gloating
Nor bragging
Though it may seem
I know
How sad you
Coldly huddled
Back east masses
Feel for us.
Oh, Jeeze
Kody’s barking to go out
And have to change
Into shorts and sandals.
Oh, Jeeze!!

I wish it were that warm in sunny Florida, been really chilly here.
Could use some warmer weather.

Giggle....my heart just bleeds for you, having to go through the trouble of changing into shorts to go outside in January....imagine that!!!!! Says I in my down-filled jacket, felt-lined boots, woollen cap and mittens! GRRRR.....sigh...if I were in your shoes I'd probably be gloating too...giggle...

Ha ha!
You are cheeky! :)
It is very cold, yes, and dry. I love the winter, though, honestly. It's difficult to get out on the coldest of days such as this, but most days I love the crisp air.
