Remembering Jeff
By La Belle Rouge
I remember you, young and beautiful
dark hair, piercing eyes, chiseled face
sweet, tender nature, so like your mother
I don’t know what happened along the way
that broke you so badly, and bent your life
into a maze only whiskey seemed to unravel
I loved you Sweet Boy, like a son of mine
I remember the many prayers she and I
sent up to heaven for you, and all our sons
I know Our Father listened to each one
Five and a half years you were missing
she prayed many prayers, shed many tears
she held on to faith, in everlasting arms
since she couldn’t enfold you in hers
now you are at last found, only old bones
in a forgotten woods, discarded like trash
you and God alone know what happened
so now she grieves and I grieve with her
no life is wasted, no praying mother’s son
can wander too far from the arms of God

Music "Leaning On The Everlasting Arms"
This is your favorite hymn My Sweet Friend, I know you are leaning on His arms now.

You write for dear Jeff and his grieving mother with oceanic compassion and love, and I feel it too and will pray for them too, and am so sorry for this tragedy!
Blessings,

I feel your utter sadness!
RIP to his restless spirit, the Jeff that was so loved and wanted! and he just never really knew it!
This tears at your soul!
A mother should never come to know.
I hope for release, contentment and understanding of this horrid ending!
You wrote your deepest feelings out so well my treasured friend!
Hugs, SHEE |

Sweet blessings of God's arms for her to lean upon.
A heart of a mother is one of an angel. To hold
dear the memories of her son, now in God's care.
Tearfilled my heart. Lady Mary Ann
