It ain't long for this world... |

I go onto the computer,
Till it, not too long, dies,
It stops, it starts,
It freezes & farts…
Maybe the farts,
It did learn from me,
But so help me,
I haven’t even hit it,
Or yet broken it apart…
That time though is coming,
And I am not herein to you funning,
I found some used ones for under a hundred,
Hopefully then I can allow this one to die,
Then it will surely be much happier when it is finally dead…J

I now have two computers set up at all times, just in case one desides to get a little grumpy on me. It also gives me plenty of time to run utilities and troubleshoot problems without feeling like I am trying to walk without my legs, which is how I feel, living without a computer. My whole life is wrapped up on these machines though I have learned to keep a backup on a disc of anything that is important to me like documents, poetry, cool e-mail, etc. I hope you can keep your baby running and find a way to make it healthy again.
Take care,
Sherry |

Hahahahaha! That pic says a thousand words....I've been there, Ed! When the computer begins chewing on that last raw nerve...it's time to say goodbye and bury it! giggle

| They can be exasperating, but tell me, how in the hell did we ever get along without them? I watch too much TV, but even that doesn't compare to the time I spend sitting at my computer. When my DSL goes down, I go nuts. (and when I go nuts, my sweetie accuses me of being shirt tail relation to the Ed's family) Dick |

Mine threw me a "curve ball" a couple of nights ago. After a lot of "coaxing," it came back to normal. Well, it is almost four years old so I suppose, in this day and age of "advanced technology," it is ancient. Thanks for sharing, Ed. Love and peace,
Regis |
