I may be a bit anal, but I do well take care of my car...

For the most part,

My car is all up tuned,

New platinum tipped plugs,

New wires & an air filter,

Ready to run through the hot summer,

I just wonder if I should get new floor mat rugs…

She ain’t got no paint,

The old stuff is so faded it’ll make one faint,

But with this car I really ain’t got no complaint,

She’s treated me really great, almost is she to me, a saint…

Still she rides really nice,

Only failed in two years on me twice,
Both times she restarted & she doesn’t run on rice,

Take care of your car, is the only to you I can give, advice…

They don't make cars like they used to any more. I have an old Opel whom I call Saffie. I drive a Jeep much of the time for farming and animal carrying purposes, but my Saffie is the perfect support car. Basic and solid. She's getting old but still way more reliable than most modern cars.

BACK IN THE GOOD OLE DAYS - LATE 50'S - THERE WAS A PRODUCT CALLED
'RUBBING COMPOUND' 4 REMOVING OLD DEAD PAINT. CHECK W/AUTO ZONE
OR OTHER PARTS STORE ... SHOULD BE BETTER PRODUCTS BY NOW?

TEST SMALL AREA 1ST ... IF WORKS, THEN APPLY SOME GOOD WAX ... TK...

I agree, take care of your car and it will last long. I always wondered why men named their car. Two of my sons named their cars. Lola and Betsy lol and Bonnie looks great, Ed!
