When I want to swim
I will imagine I have fins

When I want to soar to greater heights
I am like a bird in flight

When I want to cry
I know she will be there to dry my eyes

When I want to pray
By my side, she will stay

When I want to experience a new beginning
She will be there supporting, listening

When I am in pain
She feels the same

When I am troubled by the past
I will speak to God and my sadness will not last


When my head aches
I will listen to the water flowing down the lake


When I need inspiration to write
I will succeed if I know she is in sight


When I am overcome by worry and fear
These will go away when she is near


These are moments I cherish and treasure
These are happenings that I fondly want to remember
