This is about a walk I took one day back in 1997 with my two year old granddaughter, Haley. She's 17 now and a real spitfire!!

I watched her walk ahead of me
The breeze caressed her silky hair

A gentle rain nearly a mist
So softly kissed her cheeks and nose

Her little voice said, "Come on, Gram!"
She took my hand we walked to where

The locust trees dropped blossoms sweet
Which she kicked 'round with little toes

We gazed at clouds which passed above
Casting shadows upon the ground

Se told me this, "Cloud in sky
Rain come down fishy swim!"

All time stands still at times like these
I hear her words wisdom profound

This two oyear old brightens and fills
My life up to the very brim

WHAT A GIFT GRANDCHILDREN ARE...IT ONLY TAKES A HUG, AN EXPRESSION OR A CUTE PHRASE OR TWO AND WE THINK HOW OUR LIVING HAS ALL BE WORTHWHILE. THANKS FOR SHARING, JANE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

What a joy it must be to walk with her granddaughter and have her express such profound understanding of her little universe. Enjoyed.
