Uni-Verse Shadows

Sometime the verse leads,

and sometimes it follows.

We do play hide and seek

Some days it floats alight pastels

Others thunders into overcast grays.

Upon horizons I peer beyond it

Then within retrospect I seer within.

Sometimes we merge in reflective silence

Awaiting cerebral inspired movements

That sometimes get constipation

Then flows freely, where one tries to keep up.

The middle of the night quill

Awakes one to write real quick

Or go to the bathroom quicker

Remembering that thoughts,

Can be put to toilet paper.

This addiction of this love cohesion

That bonds the cerebral Uni-Verse mind within,

To the celestial universe poetic winds outside,

Where the microscopic introspection

Mind melts on telescopic optic detection,

Wherein verbal precise imagery in focused lines

Sails alive wordsmith’s precision elocution,

Where words precise incision diction

Weaves the verse that leads and lags,

Intertwining poets upon their woven words.
