For What's It Worth
|
An early summer haze has descended upon the Appalachians.
Bringing with it a stark reality.
Too early this year did the seasons change.
“Too fast,“ I say, “How can so much happen,
In so little time?”
Living is better than not but,
The anxiety and recriminations remain.
Why does life seem so hard at times?
An early summer haze has descended upon the Appalachians .
It’s hard to see very far ahead.

The seasons changed dramatically fast here in Maritime Canada too, Walt...I've been looking through a haze all my life and I still can't see any further ahead than today.....Very thought provoking write....enjoyed.....

One day at a time to reveal the future is my way now...

| Walt, there always seems to be haze of one description or another when it comes to attempting to visualize the future - there are simply too many variables and chaos to contend with - I like the photo of the mountains - the Smokies are a favorite haunt for me almost annually for the past thirty years or more -- I wish you love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael |
