See Saw Poet

In one’s flaws are their strengths

and in one’s strengths,

one must see flaws,

that see saw emotion

flowing veins vibrating poetry.

Grains construct sandstone

weathering  desert towers,

silhouettes stripped naked.

Wind chiseled sculptures

wear mind’s abrasive verse,

standing stiff in nature’s resilience.

Optic nerves teeter totter images,

where words trail divergent ways.

One sees shadows in changing light,

others use sunlight shades to contrast.

Where extremes are black and white

canvases having no visible characters.

One can prune words like a raisin

filling them up with poetic sunshine,

that sail dew drops bearing a poet’s tears

That when ripe - ready to bare poetry,

they strip anew graft of their verse.

Like vintage wine on lips never tasted.

Arise to fall, sunrise to sunset’s see shore

footprints gravitate in morning cohesion

to weigh heavy grains from midnight’s chill.

That upon sunrays they dance alight the wind.

Where footprints evaporate warm over rhyme.

Fall to arise, celestial heaven’s solar wings,

sails adrift shooting stars sensual delight imprints

to levitate enlightened adrift starlight sea shows.

Uni-Verse within set free alight evening adhesion,

where poets write - meditative tranquil quills,

in poetry’s peaceful bliss kissing soft, readers lips.
