Is it possible we too seldom take score and consider the importance of our most distant dreams?

Intimacy Revisited

How arrives such moments
Those glimpses
Realms consciousness first realizes
Amidst the elusive dreams of a child
That place of castles and warriors
Princesses and silken hair
Always subjected to a blank slate
On awakening

Later

Dreams seem accessible
We rush to write them down
Speak them on the couch
Beg reflection to arouse
Imagination’s past
Into future’s truth
That place
Where swollen heat
Moistens into Nature’s tears
Encouraging heart’s fantasies
To irrigate arid stagnation
From the mind

Why do many
Far too many
Condemn wraithlike epiphanies
As wasted Time

How sad
Such avoidance

This gracious invitation
Left to only grieve those
Ignoring such long ago
Childhood dreams
Knowing not
Time’s only desire
Is to revisit
Its most intimate past

Strange

Some never learn
How to realize dreams
While others know well
 How to lose them

A subject that could be broken down in many parts, the most complicated of them all, to be happy. Are the day dreams any more important than the night? a lot to ponder here, as time can change any dream. enjoyed. ~ Morgan

Eh, I have this theory about dreams, but it evolves over the years as does our ages. I honestly don't remember but one of my childhood dreams. I was sixteen years old before my parents (adopted) adopted another baby. I remember dreaming that we boiled him to death.

Now! The dreams as I grew older were more on the order of nightmares (like that one I just described wasn't? Haha). Who knows about dreams. Conscience-oriented? Fearful of things? I know millions of words (Billions? Trillions?) have been written about dreams, but I wonder if within all those words any sense of why and what we dream is provable.
