something about the taste of life
it creeps up into your hurried mouth
so quickly that your mind can't react
and really what is this thing called strife?

shh, is what she says as she injects
sit down quickly before you collapse
your mine now baby, "n" forever
taste my life that is here to protect

as the world spins so unkindly
she kisses what has lost self control
reminds you of that needles taste
just to show what you share blindly

and that monkey keeps crankin the box
with lil hands held out and close
and decidedly one has to steal
if only to stay a step in front of the fox

did you ever stop hearing the needles prick?
or, did ya focus on the pouring waters?
when she told you to kill that man
after hours of playing with your tricks...

"n" ya know ya were never in the game
the needle was your minds control
but, you enjoyed the taste of death
until the Judge, he called your name

appeals dont have the weight of youths haste
I suppose neither do the words, I'm sorry"
and as I lie on this prisons sterile gurney
I shall always remember this needles taste....

I think it speaks for itself
