Perfection is…

The sweet smile

The shinning eyes

The long golden locks

It is what people see

What they expect you to be

It is the lie you live your life by

Perfection is…

The quick mind

The wise words

The kind heart

It is what you show

For people to see

The lie you let them believe

Perfection is…

The impossible task

The sought after trait

The thing you hide behind

Perfection is unattainable, for it is in the differences that the subtle essence of beauty is defined. Is this autobiographical? Hence the lie? Or are we writing about a certain Canadian Miss Universe candidate?

perfection, a lie or simply a quest we pursue with lust to provide those we hold dear with our very best -- even though we fail we have engaged with passion at our highest levels -- Alexandria this work demands the reader to examine their credo closely -- it is verse that I appreciate and enjoy -- I wish you love and peace my friend -- Jon Michael

Love your words. You are quite right of course, we do use perfection as a shield behind which to hide our own short-comings.
