Loving another person across time

In our younger day, we had a deep/forbidden love for one another

We had our own ideas of how life would be

not considering the wonderful life we could have had

because the future I could not see~

A love that would stand the pain and wane of time

leaving us older, wiser…..and just a bit past our prime~

For better, for worse in sickness and in health I took a vow

And would see it through to the end all the way to the shroud~

Through waves of sadness, tears of joy, life’s pain and sorrow

We found each other in our tomorrow~

We are meant for each other with our blood, heart and souls

I Love you more than you will ever know

Ta gra-Gaelic=I love you
