|Somehow I can feel that fear and also feel redemption,,,just get up and go back to sleep....or wake up whatever the case may be. I sometimes have nightmares not too often and they leave you shaking for sure.
Another spine tinkling write from you Jerry!!

I hope this is merely a stint in genre, as for the verses I like how you have them penned. Every person in that situation huddles scrunched and feels fear just don't let the fear drive you mad we all need you here.

|Jerry, I'm with Kate on this one! Maybe because I've been in that situation too many times, I don't know. But you spell it out clearly here. =))

|Open the door!! Open the door!!! I can't bear it, I just have to know.... I think this same thing every night, Jerry, and know that far from "huddling in a corner" I will just run out and confront it every time. Mad, I know, but it's a kinda Butch Cassidy thing! I love the way you tease a response from each of us with this, and am sure deep parallel psychologies can be drawn from them! This scratches where I itch! :)) xx|

|Another spooky one Jerry...Is this by any chance the 'Hall of your mind'??

|All things bad are not scary.... Mae West once famously said, “When I'm good, I'm very, very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better.” Although.... if she were still alive and in your hall, that might be scary.
None-the-less this posting is "not bad." Dick

|Your hall is not the place to be, it seems. Perhaps you should shine a light into those dark corners so that nothing can hide there.|

|Jerry, you sure painted a flayed and visceral human state here. Our most vulnerable; mute, bare, balled-up in the darkness. It is the 'betrayed' part that unnerves. ~~ Diana|

|There has been a few people in your hall of late...it could almost mean that there is something in your head that is bothering you of late...hope it passes soon...(the dog will protect you), Ed|
