Are you paying attention?

The fort’s surrounded, the ant it cries,
Poison, raid, but it’s too late,
Every man, and woman, dies,
One could ask, is it intelligent design, or is it fate?

Now every Bee, and Bird, that flies,
Of poison tells a tale,
How, so much poison fills the skies,
There too, kills every woman, child, and male,

While they argue, the frog, and fish,
If Gods so wise had this designed,
Lay poisoned now, on someone’s dish,
But to see the poison, they are blind,

They say, intelligent design, that got us here,
Some would argue otherwise,
In any case we’re doomed I fear,
If we can’t tell, the truth from lies,©14/04/2012

We shit in our mess kit every day
Then wonder why we're sick
If intelligent design makes this so
Then God must be a prick

The fact that we are now seven billion is a record of our success, and our failure to control our own excess. As long as we persist with myths like intelligent design and the idea that we can poison beneficial insects to our benefit, and go on populating like there's no tomorrow, we are doomed. The good thing about being doomed is that mother nature will kill a good number of us, and hopefully, teach us a bit of wisdom about our part on this planet.

Lots of chemicals we use turn into estrogen when in our systems. No matter how they got there, the global gene pool is shrinking because of it.
One lake in Florida had chemical run-off and they found all the frogs in that pond were female from the estrogen effect.
There ya go.

In any case, we’re doomed I fear

I think we've doomed our entire planet, and all its god-given life forms, with our ever expanding human population, all of our ever more toxic pesticides, water pollution, drilling, mining, fracking, and killing, and now our ever increasing War on Wildlife, so we can sweep them all aside and spray and pollute and drill and mine and frack some more.

And I now sadly wonder how many humans will even want to live on this planet anymore when we get done.
