Cute Piggys

I once knew a handsome horsefly
who was pursued by a pig named Gail...
he left pretty pony Sue
to flit around on cute piggy's tail.

Now I know the sound of a giant pine
when it crashes to a stump...
and it's not as loud as ole piggy's wail
when Sue chomped a piece from her rump.

The lesson cute piggy learned
was to stay out of someone elses stable
or she'd soon be a tasty pot roast
laid out on the whole stable's table.

All that kerfluffal stirred up by a weensy horsefly. Gleeful scene here and like the tossing of a hot potato. "Sue chomped a piece from her rump." This is written to allow the reader access to the vision of this sequence happening. To bring such an ordinary (sans the pierce of the pig squeal) event into such animation takes an energized hand. Neat read, Pat. ~~ Diana

I must be going nutso, Pat, but haven't you posted this before? Recently?

Anyway, the handsome horsefly (I hate horseflies), but I guess he was instrumental in cluing in Piggy Gail on the proper etiquette concerning who to run around with.
