Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. ~Lao Tzu

It's been certainly dry,

Nothing has of late fallen from the sky,

But today we are getting monsoonal rains,

I'm tellin' the truth, why would I lie...

The grass & trees are soaking it in,

Getting my car washed, I'm stayin' in,

Yesterday on the beach seventy-five,

Today fifty degrees for a total high...

But its nice to see the rain again,

Thank you God for sending it our way,

What else can be said but amen...

I welcomed the rain this afternoon, and more to come tomorrow, it's nice to be able to know that the earth if getting its share of rain and Amen to your poetry always, I love to read them and look forward to them daily. My inspiration comes from poetry usually.

Through rain that Nature did bequeath
I sing in joyful acapella
Bold and brazen, safe beneath
The sanctity of my umbrella.

Amen indeed! It's raining here too and way cooler! The buds on the trees are fairly bursting with the welcome rain....Hasn't really rained so far this spring...we need some...and when the sun shines again (in a week or so)giggle...everything will be magically green and vibrant!

Amen. How can we complain about falling rain when we have seen the thirsty earth yearning for water? It's a bit too cool to go out and dance in the rain, but we can thank God and rejoice while we look out the windows.
