just an appreciation for life, my children and my husband... a sweet freestyle just thrown together from a nice thought.

Im sitting here
Basking in the sunlight from my
children's eyes;
Breathing lighter than I have
In over 12 days;
Slight aches from the cut that gave me
their beautiful life;
My sugar dipped heart does somersaults
His fructose flavored love so sweet
to my emotionally charged
starved palette.
Heart swells like a water balloon
Mind mellows like chamomile tea
Im inhaling memoirs
And exhaling rose petals;
As the clock strikes one
I break off the knob that rewinds,
Because I realized
In this exact moment
I absolutely
Wouldn't change a
Thing.
