The bolt of lightning crashed into the tree
and stuck --
Leaves exploded into nuggets of popcorn
covering the ground.
I awoke to find the blue-white shaft
protruding from the tree
like a flourescent erection.
Wading through the knee-deep drifts of white
I plugged my typewriter into the base of the tree
and typed "therefore" at the top of the page.

Loved this. A surreal thrusting of the imagination finding its start paradoxically at the end. Wonderful streaming at its best.
