A few lines about wanting the romance of the job, but not the reality of having the job.

 

I could be a farmer grow some plants and tend the land,

But I only want to drive a tractor or save lambs,

I could be a builder craft the wood or set the stone,

But I only want the hat and bib to make me glow,

I could be a fisherman and toil on the sea,

But I only want to steer the boat around the pier,

The romance of the superman,

The van warrior in white armour,

Would suit me for a day or two,

Till boredom set in hours.
