Encouragement to hang on in there.

There's a brighter side my friend,

Life should be long not brought to end,

What's done is done so it was wrong,

But take the strain and struggle on,

All those knocks are just to shape,

You need to lose to love the win,

You need to hate to feel the pain,

Yes being at the bottom hurts,

But what's the worst ?

It's giving in,

So grit your teeth and soldier on,

Don't let those bastards grind you down,

It will pass and time will heal,

Look back on this in golden years.

I can relate to this for the temptation to give up can be quite compelling at times and yet...there is always hope in a new dawn...

So smoke a little of the weed,
Yes, the stuff grown from the seed,
It does, at least for me, quell the fear,
Of past wrongs & rights & of all those approaching old years...ed
