It is the relationship of Jasmine flowers with a maiden and how important the flower is to her in the various stages of her life.

The Jasmine flower and  the little lady in white

 The fallen white flowers appear

On moonlit nights, like glittering pearls

Scattered across the ground so white

Its heady wet fragrance to bring out

 Nostalgic thoughts of lovely times

The freshness of the jasmine bloom

Her delicate fingers pick the fallen white  flowers to string

A bead of flowers for her hair

The little fair damsel sweet as her smile can be

Dressed in sparkling white attire

Soon discovers its mystic powers

Is it the little maiden’s musk?

Or the scent of the flowers strong at dusk

With kohl filled eyes, her wide eyes stares

This sets his heart to flutter in the church

So  swiftly he aims at her golden heart.

And soon makes her his blushing brid

When they fleetingly meet to become but one

The jasmine willingly adorned their lives

The tender star like milky flowers

Dance in tune to lovers’ delight

To share a  life as  man and wife

A silent witness to this moment

Quietly the flowers stare and exude sweet scents

Long after the years went by

The maiden now old, but   she yearned

For the scent of the flower and the essence of its beauty

The freshness of jasmine

Brings memories of her youth

Lingers in the longings of the lonesome lady

The joys of the carefree days a distant past

The laughter of her children ringing in her ears

But the feelings all so sweet in her mind,

As the fragrance of the jasmine, it  stayed

Like the jasmine one day she slipped away

My jasmine flower is now an angel in white”

As with the many things that follow us through life, this tale of connectivity sings of beauty and tranquility as only a flower can. Well penned! M.True

A very beautiful way of expression J.K. It is but in memories that the jasmine impresses the senses with its fragrance...but it lives on long after the bloom has withered away when it remains in the heart of one who sees so deeply. The shell we inhabit becomes fragile with time but it is what is inside us that rekindles dreams to remember.
