For some, itís nature. For others, itís that which hangs on the walls of museums. For still others, itís the moment of Pavarottiís high note. Even the homeless have access to such a delivery.

Such choices

Say the sages

Pick your path

Enjoy this slow trek

To rediscover a route via detours of art

Where but two or three creations

The Simple layered atop the Complex

Await your willing presence

Offering that place where first your heart opens

And begins to live beside the Unknowable making life known

"...where first your heart opens" --- a blooming way to describe realization. ~~ Diana

if we live long enough we gain the 'wisdom' of learning how to forget...and remember. thanks

You pour wisdom on the page. No outsiders can ever tell us our true path or what is locked within our own heart.
You are a poet I can learn from.

we, each of us select and empower our personas - before we are a decade old the adult personality within the child's body is cemented -and so we act out who we are and how we live in the day to day drama of our existence - you tell this story with a rich poetic flair Odin - I wish you love and peace my friend - Jon Michael

Very insightful. The Unknowable is real and yet there is the necessity to create a whole new vocabulary to describe it. Shakespeare had that exact same challenge and, therefore, invented 2,500 new words. Great piece and thoughtful. Great to discover you on this site.

We are how we live. And, for the most part, we choose what path we take, regardless of our money or social status.

Love the line "The Simple layered atop the Complex."

We are conditioned by our environment and by the people who raised us. Most of us labor forward much as dad or mom walked their walk, no matter how much we say we despise them. Some, however strike out to find other ways to "Live." I venture to say, by the time we have gone through the living process most of us are not happy with ourselves.
