Hard-Luck Charlie

Here's hoping that our trails cross again....

Hard-luck Charlie grew up on the Hardscrabble Plains
Of life’s meaningless baubles had naught
Yet he knew what was most important to him
And was damned glad for what he had got

Though now Charlie is gone with those plains he remains
He saddled up his hoss and did ride
With a smile and a joke rode off into the Smoke
Where he rides on the Other Side

Good Luck to Hard-luck Charlie wherever

On a smoky day, you can see him ride out of the flames… Interesting image portrayed.

Materialism...well ya can't take it with ya and in the end the only thing that matters is the few good friends a wo(man) has to stand tall next to your spirit...I stand next to you in the living and until the end to eternity Duke! Blessed Be.
