A charge laid unto me

I am a Hunter

and in this moment

I am stringing my bow

I am sharpening my blade

I am fitting my armor

Ever the diligent Predator

I have already identified my trio of quarry

Ignorance

Intolerance

Innocence

To Ignorance

my arrow

sailing straight and true

Piercing through the heart of it

with wisdom from afar

To Intolerance

my dagger

sunk deep into its flesh

twisting to amplify the pain

for mercy it does not deserve

To Innocence

my armor

I give unto thee willingly

I know not the horrors I have not yet slain

but you child, you must survive

Thoughtful lines in a unique manner...Each arrow is carefully prepared for suitable targets. This is nobility of a wary hunter. I salute you for taking on such responsibility, and wish you much success.

That's two positives to one negative. I'd say this poem delivers the goods. ~~ Diana
