When I was a kid,
I wondered who Mr. Tambourine was,
where to find him and
why a man named Bob wanted to follow him
so badly.

I wondered if he was a friend of
white rabbit and Puff the Magic Dragon
who lived by the sea
who must have been a friend of
the Paperbag Princess.

I listened to the story
that told me to hate my neighbour
just like Coven told me to
but I didn't heed it...

I wondered what would happen
to those who did
and I was only an 80s child...

No wonder so many hippies
turned to drugs!
