Sun Shadows

‘The best thing under the sun is being under the sun’

Sun shadows play within my mind
Impressions of the sun dancing
Casting shadows through my blinds

Filters through almost every day
In the afternoon, the sun casts rays this way

Beams its light, shines in time
Personified further in the trees, as the wind blows its chime

Its presence is good
Heartwarming too

A blessing to all, not only a few

Thank you for reminding me how I love the sun filtering through dust in a room. Reminding us that the sun is the source of everything for us. When it peeks through after we closed it off, its power is impressive.

Lovely thoughts well-shared through you verses, Suzie. The sun has been rare so far this year around here... ...but it is a lovely sunny morning out there at last. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Regis

Love the changeable shadows the sun cast upon the earth for us to look at, talk about, sometimes be frightened of and write beautiful poems about.

Suzie,
The sun casting shadows about is as mind playing as the changing shapes in clouds..nice visuals..thank you.
