 A minute of Relevance

She goes away , as the car door slams shut

They say , another opens as this one shuts

But , I'm still left here

Banging on this closed door.

Saw her and a million minutes passed by

Time and tide rose and fell, those million minutes died.

Seemed like forever, and now that your here

I seem to have found a place of my own

To release my worries and rest my bones.

In her crystal clear eyes i can see

You and me , a brilliant time, silent and carefree

We drove around for miles together

And although we knew we didn't get far

Somewhere in time , i know we would be

Together , careless and free

Then i remembered what those old english folk say

Time and tide waits for no man, as they pray

And as the evening passes by

The gleaming sun , slowly hides away.

As those dark threatening clouds fog my mind

we are still together , I think and realize

But , whats the point of this song i ask myself

Even when she no longer here, will I respect

Sinking slowly, I try to comprehend

Look up at the sky and whisper,

Dear Lord , another chance is all i need

To change this from a prayer to a song.
