|'...SALVATION IS NOT GIVING YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST, BUT BELIEVING THAT HE GAVE HIS LIFE FOR YOU...' AND 'AFTER YOU HAVE RECEIVED THIS FREE GIFT OF MERCY, THEN YOU CAN SURRENDER TO SERVE'. WELL SAID AND SO TRUE! THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...

|Well said, Cindy, because it's "not by works of righteousness that we have done" I love the song "Jesus Paid It All," which also explains so well in the chorus what Jesus did..."Jesus paid it all; All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain; He washed it white as snow."
I have heard it described as "transferring your trust from yourself to Jesus Christ."
I like that you end your poem with surrendering to serve--it's the natural response to receiving Christ as your own.
Keep up your good witness, serving Him with your words!
