not a style everyone can pull off, Jerry,
for it often reads like litany, but here
you succeed admirably.

| Hey Jerry...thanks for the encouraging words on "The Headache." I do appreciate it. I like your "Life in Increments." It's very thought provoking and I like this particular style of writing. |

| I have to agree with Jane's comment below. But may I add I loved the line "I survived the child:that would be me" |

All these baby steps to form the wonderful man you are, all the trials and tribulations... Disneyland doesn't have this thrill ride. End the end, you made it through and are truly happy as though one "hell of a boot camp." You survived and you are far ahead of those who have never made it this far yet.
Wonderfully written in comparison.

| A noteworthy meditation on the need to self loath in order to know self respect, a treatise for all who shirk the process of aging with either denial or a curmudgeon implant of disdain and anger for life, but mostly, a message of hope and confidence. As I parroted often: "The great way is not difficult for those who have no preference." You've obviously chosen to choose, even at the expense of a choice here and there that was, well, shall we say, questionable? A man is not born, he is made. Well done. |

"a hell of a ride" indeed. And "with miles to go before I sleep" especially now that you have found happiness.
Well done, Jerry. Dick |
