Unspoken Truth
By Karen Hecht Springer
June 27, 2012
So I’m wishing I knew you -
Knew the mechanics behind the frame -
Fibers, cords
Connecting through your soul and
Weaving a tapestry unique through time
With precision -
Yet, imprecisely,
Quizzical spontaneity mixes with your
Raw life blood and
Powers the light in your eyes which is
The refracting lens that burns through my being -
A question, tinged with
Regrets -
Unspoken -
Truth?

Lovely and stunningly emotional poetry Karen.
I sometimes think we are programmed to recognize the ones we are meant to connect with in this world.
As I said stunning poetry

Certainly substance to reflect upon; something with which I can relate. Thanks for sharing, Karen. Love and peace to you,

pulsating with inquisitive energy... "the mechanics behind the frame..." bespeaks a construction technique few dare aspire to... and the close ... such pregnant silence...
this did not disappoint...

You say so much with so few words in this verse, do we ever know someone? Maybe not.

Karen,
A wonderful way of peering into the lens and see that which is reflected back.

Truth?"
Ah, I hear you, but sometimes it is better not to ask, or probe too deeply. I know. I know. Sometimes we just can't help ourselves. |
