Until

Kiss me, in shadows of silent night,
where dreams dance in beams of moonlight,
captivated, within your heart,
where lullabies beat, from the start

Hold me, for all your tomorrows,
I'll fly with you, where the crow goes,
there is no other  place I’d rather be,
it can’t be that hard for you to see

Inhale me now, till sunsets end,
sunflowers reflect and  bow their head,
whispers of gossip heard  in the wind,
our novel  buried, written on a whim

~Love me till the end…

                       … through the beginning~

the 'Kiss me and the 'Hold me'
are strong enough but then the
'Inhale me now' is the knockout;
writing of poignancy and tenderness
and tremendous focus.
Christine, yes!

This is lovely Christine for truly I prefer to write romanticism as opposed to others things. I am a very romantic soul... this was a beautiful vision

I just love that phrase "inhale me." I wrote a poem not too long ago called "I Inhale, You Exhale."

Loved this poem. The ending was unique . . .

"whispers of gossip heard in the wind,
our novel buried, written on a whim"

Your poem brightened up my day.

It is so easy to relate to what you express through your verses, Christine. They are pristine and feel like I could have written them to express what I feel. Thank you for sharing your gift/s. Love and best wishes to you,

Perfectly penned Chrissie...such an invitation is hard to ignore when someone loves you enough to hear the words and the gift of love within. We can't always see what we have until we no longer have it. Can an ending birth a new beginning?
