Broken Dream

Hear the fireworks break open inside this broken esteem,

Where things explode all around exposing broken dreams.

Wounded invisible ink on invisible paper weight bears broken beats

Tick tock drip drop depression staining tears sad in broken feats.

Feel the shrill cry aloud cold water chills baring the broken quill

That foreboded shrill sound that quakes wide open broken quivers.

Thorns that shiver forlorn as sliver shads scaring broken reflections,

Mirrors slicing life into pieces being lost verse in broken connections.

Wail the nailing need to bare the womb of poetry bearing fixed esteem,

When one prays, upon a histrionics stage of wordplay’s fixed dreams.

That Phantom of the Opera, where music bares exceptional fixed beats

TICK TOCK DRIP DROP drum roll upon having accomplished fixed feats.

Sense the thrill high of those creative juices spreading the mixed quill

Sing alight the Uni-Verse sending vibrating sensations in mixed quivers

Where the rhyme and meter is alive full of alliterated mixed reflections

Alight poet in Free Verse’s diversity Artmosphere upon mixed connections.

Esteem quill quivers dreams

Reflections feats - connections beats

Arrange poetry upon your HeArt,

Where your inner Uni-Verse

Sails in the art of your soul’s verse.

Shine poet upon this universe

Where dreams should never be broken.
