Felicity’s sonnet to Todd proves she has a tight connection to Todd’s heart, even if the line is crazy busy!

Ours is a flame no deluge could dampen.
It’s fanned by wild winds no fury could sate.
It’s robust, it’s raw, it’s white hot, rampant.
When I am with you, I embrace my fate.
Turn me on like a raging inferno;
ignite me, my love, I’m fully involved.
Spurn my every advance with a firm ‘no!’
so that my mystery remains unsolved,
and I relentlessly burn underground,
until your scorched earth yields victory spoils,
and fleshed-out pound for ever-loving pound
of love bear witness to our rough-edged trials.
Who ever said my love would be easy
must have lost touch cause the line was crazy.

A well presented write of Felicity's desires,
a victory is in the wind for she is laying
out the line to Todd.

I love the pace and sheer exuberism of this tightly-crafted piece, Roger, which goes to demonstrate and prove the rapaciousness of Felicity's ardour so well. Seems that Todd has no choice but to be consumed in this inferno whether he likes it or not. Is it love or victory Felicity is after?

Spurn my every advance with a firm ‘no!’
so that my mystery remains unsolved,
and I relentlessly burn underground,
until your scorched earth yields victory spoils,
and fleshed-out pound for ever-loving pound
of love bear witness to our rough-edged trials.

... She's certainly a handful if this is how she displays her devotion rather than her "spurned fury"! :)) xx

The reflective heat of this piece offers energy to the passions of imagination; enigmatic as such may seem from time to time. Such a force offers much salve for the scars, both real, and in vision's patient construction. As usual, your chosen words/"Facts" stimulate and provide.

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT HE AND FELICITY DESERVE ONE ANOTHER...THEIR TWO OF A KIND. SO SHE NEEDS TO HOLD HIM CLOSE AND TIGHT AS SHE CONTINUES TO SATURATE HIM WITH PASSIONATE WORDS OF LOVE AND DESIRE SO HE CAN KEEP HIS MIND OFF OF CYNTHIA AND LEAVE HER ALONE. THANKS FOR THE SHARE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

Powerful emotions here. Enjoyed, Roger. Just recently I downloaded an MP3 of John Donnes 'Holy Sonnets'. If you haven't heard or read them, I would highly recommend the series. Really moving work. Several of them mysteriously brought tears. Hoping all is well ... richard
