|A poignant lament, DJL, the gist of which many should be able to relate to. Touches the heart. I was quite enamored with C.S. Lewis' masterpiece, an allegory of Christ's crucifixion really, as Aslan sacrifices himself for Edmund. The characters - Lucy, the professor, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver, Giant Rumblebuffin, and all the others - were friends in my imagination for years. Enjoyed this!
Peace to you ... richard

|I shall remain "child-like" in my appreciation for, and wonder at our universe. Prayerfully, I have raised my children to do the same! Great write!!|

|I am in awe, this is such a great write about growing up into a world where we forget what it is like to be children.

Yes we are them and they were to be us. ours will be who they are meant to be.

|I echo Jerry, we are who we are supposed to be. We can only hope for the best with our children in all we tried to do for them good or otherwise. They will themselves choose their own path :)
But so nice to look back on the past as a lovely memory Diana

|We are who we are supposed to be. More and more I am coming to believe that statement. No mater how we get to where we wind up, I think we are there . . . Because we are supposed to be. It is nice thought to look back and try to recapture the "bliss" when we were young.|

|And continue they will, for such cannot be repressed without numbing the consciousness that spawned them in the first place. You've crafted a mirrored room, where the images and heartfelt impressions can never disappear, save the passing of the memories unchartered. With thoughtful recall such as this, at least a handful of us will be reminded of our own mirrored rooms and hope for a similar ability. Well done.|
