Do I Dare To Dream
Do I dare to dream,
Believing there are angels
That shares my fairy tale?
To lift my spirit upon my wings
That sail the canvas writing love,
Rippling smiles in make believe.
Do I dare to dream,
Believing there are people
That have sunshine hearts?
Tanning a world whole in caring
When compassion feels homeless,
Then cries as God’s children are fed.
Do I dare to dream,
Believing there are politicians
Left sharing 100% American dreams?
Saying we are not a 10% nation of privilege,
But country proud of our diversity heritage
Where our 100% children,
Can dare to dream.
