I will find you in my dreams by moons light; you will find me in your dreams in suns rise, there comes the time we meet in the middle and share both. ~Lily of Lough Neagh~

 They Stood

They stood facing each other

Fingers tenderly laced together

Inhaling the essence of another

Merging as a blossoming flower

Our nectar so sweet of another

It calls the bees to pollenate

One flower to the other from us

So that all may flourish as we

As two souls who once slept

Now awakened from their dream

Hearts intertwining in loves vines

Implanting one to the other growing

Your breath upon my neck waters

As my breath upon yours nourishes

Eyes sparkle with the life they have found

A life afore which had been dead

The gentle touch we exchange

In the tenderness of the kiss

Brings the magic that we share alive

Coursing through like a waterfall

If this be but a dream we share

May this dream last an eternity

For I never wish to awaken

Only to see as we both are now

For our warmth is as the sun

Our rays ever releasing

Beams upon mother earth

And all shall grow of it

So is this purity of another

All shall wish to drink of it

For we are of freshest waters

Cooling our revitalizing drops

For we are the waters

Which bring life to all

As the greenest of a leaf

Newly opened in spring’s breath

You are my safe haven as I yours

Where once there was none

We behold all our worldly secrets

Now two are hearts filled with love

Your verses make me think of love as a volcano. It erupts in passion and excitement and involvement; and yet, it can become dormant and cold it seems... ...waiting for the next "eruption." Love and best wishes,

'THEY STOOD'. NOT 'THEY STAND' BUT 'THEY STOOD'...INDICATES WHAT 'USED' TO BE, NOT WHAT IS. THE ESSENCE OF WHAT EXISTED AT ONE TIME, INHABITS AND DOMINATES THE AIR WHERE THEIR LOVE BLOSSOMED AND GREW...SO BEAUTIFULLY. EVEN NOW, TIME CANNOT BEGIN TO ERASE WHAT WAS SO REAL THEN. FOR, THEY STOOD AND...STILL STAND! WHEN SHADOWS FALL AND STARS SLEEP THEY COME FORTH, REFUSING TO LET IT DIE. TWO SOULS...RELISHING AND PROCLAIMING...WHAT ONCE WAS. THANKS FOR SHARING, LILY...ENJOYED IMMENSELY. I WILL KEEP THIS ONE. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

I find this poem filled with generosity; generosity of sharing human feelings for another person, and generosity in desire to convey those feelings to readers of this poetry. You pose these offerings in the following lines: "So that all may flourish as we" "And all shall grow of it" "And all shall (I think you may have intended to use 'wish' instead of 'which') wish? to drink of it, and "Which bring life to all" * * * Reading this has me feeling like two graceful hands are holding out these words to everyone, for us to put them on and wear them, too! Thank you ~~ Diana

There's nothing more consuming than a love such as this. You have penned, so well, an emotion so few can feel or ever experience.

Love and blessings to you

You must have written this poem without lifting the pen from your paper, every word flowing directly from your heart, through your pen into the beauty of this poem.
This is not imaginary, this is your world and it’s real.
With every new poem you write, you reveal a little piece from your world to show to us.
Your world is filled with beauty and pure love.

Sigh………….. Carolee, thanks for making us part of your beautiful world
