 Let mankind spew words

Let them be heard

Wisdom is held

When no word is returned

Wisdom is found in silence

While others make

a mockery

of themselves

Very fine line between silence
and knowing when to speak, so
very wise for one to know....
Thanks, *Carolee*

A lot of words being spewed on blogs and talk shows. Not much wisdom. That's why I like reading poets like you. Wise words carefully meted out to forever enlighten.

Well said, Lily!
we too often forget that silence is
an option, a wise one..what was the old saying?
a shut mouth catches no flies

this is thoughtful and very worthwhile

I can learn a lot from you, but sometimes I have a hard time keeping silent. I just want others to understand me.

But, wise words Lily
