If creation is meant for personal growth, why do some allow veneration and outside worship (or lack of) to foment the destruction of one’s own version?

One's Own Version

My story
meets your story
vibrations inexorably moving
like atoms seeking attachment

magnetic storms
find their grounding
just as expression wanders
until its purpose finds contact
thunder urging rain
a baton's downbeat
arresting synaptic harmony
counterpoint synergy seeking resolve

how mysterious
this insatiable connection
endless its quest
tenacious its resolve
forever affecting
never idle
reflecting the you of me

whether writers wondering
painters layering
composers gently humming
realism begetting impressionism
jazz invoking classical
hip hop abstracting Nureyev's glissade
antagonists require protagonists

and thus

poetry finds paper
paper lifts ink
ink notes music
music conjures images
images invite paint
paint invites dimension
dimension ushers sculpture

yet

when all is said
composed
painted
danced
sculpted
something more
beckons

such enchantment
this empowered imagination
a threat to no one
a quiet right over wrong
a subtle cracking of the void
releasing a moment's peek
the threshold
the space
the light
the beckoning magic

one's own version

Inventive weaving of the elements of entanglement following "and thus" And....What a strong and glorious last stanza! The imagination a threat to no one, "..cracking of the void" and "...beckoning magic" wow of a finish, Odin. ~~ Diana

You are a perfect example of how introspection and outward expression reward the expresser. May everyone become a creator of their own art.
