...a painful reality...

His life turned upside down,

Forced by others to “sleep” around,

He thought he did like what he did,

Death did come to him after a doing a lid…

Introduced to his “trade”,

At an early age,

From eight years on,

His life then decayed…

His pain tremendous,

Things done to him horrendous,

Happy he thought he felt,

When he didn’t “perform”,

Used on him was a belt…

Out there are still his purveyors,

In crowded places of children,

They are of “fresh meat”, surveyors,

For those that are “taken”,

All one can do is offer up prayers…L

Oh how I know these stories well, Ed. I am a nurse and worked in Mental Heath for a time. Such horrendous things that I can't forget them even today..You have well written the pain of such inhumanities..

To add a note about my poem, Holy Moley, it has a bit of truth and a bit of humor bottled into something comical, I hope..I appreciated your particualar comment on it.... Sandy

This is sad and if buffles me why the law is not stepping in and bringing this to an end once and for all. If our children are so important to our countries....Why does this remain a problem? .....because it's not important to our countries and somehow we have to be the one's to make the change...but how? Thought provoking write and bringing to awareness to this crime is one of the ways to help end it.

Breaks my heart, children are so precious. So much evil roams around hiding themselves from the innocent.

There are far too many predators in this world....they're hideous and dangerous....hiding behind faces of trust! No punishment is severe enough for those who'd hurt a child....in ANY way.....

There is not a place foul enough to send these low-life's.
If there were, they'd soon rethink their actions.

Chicken Hawks like that motherfucker from Penn State need to be beaten every morning before breakfast and then refuse the bastard breakfast.
