| Simply elegant. In an era where such a worn and historically significant gesture such as a kiss is rendered by your keyboard with respect and tolerance for its elementary, as well as oft times miss-learned use, one can't help but respect such phrasing as is usually reserved for classical remembrance. You have suggested with your subtext the everyday human is derelict in not paying attention to this means of transformation designed for the sublime company of soul. So well done. Kudos. |

In my world, the, ".. I and the you" matter a great deal. Of course, we're long past that, "sloppy fondling teenage..." time. We don't have much time left, but we plan to make good use of it. My sweetie says anything less than a 10 second kiss doesn't count. Course, she says a broken cookie doesn't have any calories too.
Whatever....! Like your poem Morgan, thanks. Dick |

that opening question teases, prompts,
suggests much; i like the range of exploration here,
the 'teenage test' is right on and the final lines
are blissful;
fine, Morgan, fine indeed
