There is no pedistal I can place you

For you're ever in my heart.

You were my life's happiness

And you'll never depart.

You were the sunshine

On a cloudy day.

You were the breath of spring

That dispelled the bitter cold.

There is no place I can place you,

No gallery of art.

No exqusite mountain or valley,

Could take you from my heart.

Love like yours is so devine,

It must be cherished so.

The Lord blessed me with an angel

And then called her home.

So fortunate that on a fine day
she entered your life *George*
and on another fine day you will
be reunited with your angel...

To have these feelings is a gift itself, as well as the person responsible for them. Ending this poem with "And then called her home." is a gentle placement of such a love. ~~ Diana

I have walked in your shoes, George. They're not very comfortable, but you do adjust. I'm at a very happy place in my life these last few years. Hang tough. Dick

Hugs George, often times our loved ones are called home before we expect it. You know her love and feelings are with you too. She will never leave your side although you do not see her :)
