...a continuing saga of a gay kid on the streets...

After mommy & daddy threw me out,

I lived hand to mouth,

Sure I had to have money,

I became a sugar daddy’s honey…

But I had to live,

The things he made me do,

Well, I don’t want to say,

But I long to leave him one day…

Still it’s better than getting beat,

And living on the cold, dark street,

But I have to be honest,

I want a real boyfriend,

Before I meet what might be my suicidal end…

This can’t be what being gay is all about,

I’m only fourteen & older men for me shout,

They offer me money, clothes & food,

But they always seem to be “in the mood…”

Sad and happens to many of the troubled teens attemping to find themselves when they don't fit into the circles and squares. Good write.

It is a sadness that permeates the streets of no understanding Ed, you touched a subject many wish to have a blind eye to.

Excellent awareness prose
