Mute and Understood

Beauty and loveliness in this hour

I hear the song of the butterfly

Mute and understood

The sweetheart of nature

Soothing the inner dweller of every soul

Wide wings of splendor that sweep our hearts

Into that somebody we remember

Like innocence’s and grace

Humanity and nature…

Fine winged, painted beauty of nature

Your poetry decorates my soul

Like the festival of colors at Holi

Like the lights of Diwali,

Like the flowers of Onam,

Oh most delicate honey sucker

Draw out that divine ambrosia

From my tender marrow

Like a hummingbird draws his ruby nectar

May it pull out the mighty miracle garden

Of my soul.
