I must be a bad boy...................
|
If the good die young like we're told.
Why have I lived to be so old?
Many a life I've saved,
While in the medical field.
Away from death,
Them I have wrought.
It was just my job,
And never gave it a thought.
So then the phrase I guess,
Is just jive.
But if it's really true ,
Why am I.........Still alive?
Walt

| Walt sometimes I think that is just a myth to soothe the family and friends of those who die young. If it's true then it's just too late for naughty ones like you and me!! |

| Wonderfully expressed, Walt. After the loss of my son and mother, I've asked the same question. It's not our time yet, Walt ... moving poetry! |

I guess it was good jeans. I prefer Levi's. Or could have been all those sample pills or hospital chemicals you breathed. It certainly wasn't bottled water or testosterone enhancers. ;-)
The older we live, the more we beat the odds. My grandfather used to say, “I'm waiting for the good Lord to take me away.” I thought that he was being a bit pessimistic as we fished by the river, his favorite pastime. But now I'm beginning to see what he meant.
