Divorce may sometimes make the children feel that they are at fault or that all love is gone. It's not. It just takes different shapes and stuff. Love just is. Anyhow, this is to my wonderful grandson, David, who is 15, smart, and loveable!

Dear David
You don't know why
Your world fell in
Around you
You wonder if it had
To do with
You at all
No not at all
Dear David

Young man now
Fifteen years old
Don't sell your soul
To this world
Don't be so sad be glad
Just be you
You're O.K.
Do your own thing
Dear David

All children do not do well through divorce, it takes time and healing. But if the parents aren't happy, it reflects on them anyway.

Hugs for David Jane
