Sedona, AZ., a beautiful spiritual area between Phoenix and Flagstaff; also known as 'red rock country'. A favorite place to rest and re-create. Photo:Oak Creek [ItsAboutTheLight]

                        Rock               Ssshhh ~

Listen to my journey, bled into layer upon eon,

 transfusing life into forgotten memories.

Watch as I seem not to change,

yet grain‑by‑inch I transform and remain.

     Listen to my heart,

recounting the awe of my ancient birth.

Watch as I stand before wind and water, even as

they carve their stories, yet I re‑emerge.

Feel my soul bring you back to being.

                      Wind              Ssshhh ~

Listen to my journey as unseen I rouse dormant seed

and casual leaf, dreaming in the sun.

Watch as with a single breath, solitary partners

are joined in majestic sway.

Listen as leaf and bough engage and prompt in soft

succession - one voice in an un-scored song.

Watch as soft, urgent rhythm - a chorus in

separate motion - performs one dance.

Feel my spirit bring you back to being.

                    Creek               Ssshhh ~

Listen to my journey, full with heaven's

               sorrow and joy,

as I heal earth's scars; as I cut more deeply.

Watch, as I rise and fall, rush and turn B

breaking free in my eternal dance.

Listen as I honor, yet transgress my own boundaries -

silver balm glistening over sacred stone and root.

Watch as I swirl - turning back upon myself –

gently coursing again to nourish and coax dreamers away.

Feel my blessing bring you back to being.

Ssshhh ~

I have passed through several times, and find Sedona Arizona the most beautiful and restful place where artists flock to enjoy the inspiration of the air and light upon the sculptured red rocks. Your poem speaks of the time it took to carve such beauty with wind and rain. Brought back memories.

I hope to return there some day.
