Birthday beach & swim visit...

Took a neighbor and we had a blast...

Two days late,

But oh the ocean & waves were really great,

It did of my hunger to body surf sate,

Also watched little gulls eating surface bait…

The ocean easily 75 degrees,

The rip current sometimes drove me to my knees,

But either way it was so much fun for close to an hour,

That’s when I started to lose some strength & power…

No surfboard, nor boogie board today,

Too many other people swimming to make it safe,

Almost lost my bathing suit a few times,

But that’s the fun of swimming in the northeasterly climes…J

Good for you, Ed, and you're a braver man than me... I have yet to enter the sea by which I'm sorrounded even after 6 summers here - let alone for an hour or more! Always love your faultless ability to rhyme whatever's going on in your life and times. AND A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY WITH MANY, MANY HAPPY RETURNS... a bit of a different story, thankfully, to three years ago... :)) xxxxx

Great to see you got to your beach, no matter two days late! Enjoy it more often before it turns too cool :o)

Actually George I think Ed was remembering NOW, not WHEN, either that or I'm losing it. At any rate, two days late or what, it sounds like you had a great, belated birthday bash.
