the folds and petals
of womanhood
open out and unfurl
like a cut ribbon of a new ship to sail

I can't think of anything
more intimate
than a new ship
nudging up against a new dock

Subtle and fresh. A definite wake-up call for the hordes of romantic poets who continue to bombard our senses with worn out cliche images. got any more of these gems in your vault?

Visually a wonderful picture

is presented to the world
